Project overview: Update legacy yard landscaping. 11k sg ft lot, 7k sg ft soft scape.
Demo existing softscape.
Design for drought tolerant, desert garden plant options.
Install drip irrigation system.
Replace lagacy plants with drought-tolerant options.
Install exterior backyard lighting.
Install water feature / fountain.
Pros:
Informative, knowledgeable, creative ideas.
Project delivery on time.
Addressed concerns regarding plant selection due to pets.
Accomidating when the project scope size increased.
Cons:
A lower percentage of plants died after planting.
Offered to replace any plants that didn't survive as part of the initial project, that never occurred.
Scheduling plant replacement 5 times over 4 months, but never showed up.
In summary, we're happy with the landscape project delivery. That said, we're disappointed we've had multiple no-shows to get the dead plants replaced. I gave up trying.
