I would NEVER use these people again. I have filed a compliant with the California Contractor Licensing people. Empire offered me about $800 to settle - not even close to what is needed. I have unsuccessfully tried for 3 years to have them fix these items that they messed up including 1) 4 interior doors that do not close correctly; 2) soft spot in one of the floors - should have been fixed when found and the room was empty - now requires moving 100s of pounds' of household effects to fix; 3) painted 2 sections of wall with gouges and various marks without any preparation; 4) painted one section of wall with what looks like watered paint; 4) bathroom sink was installed on the baseboard causing sloping.
