Have you ever heard of using a 5' sliding glass bathtub door on a 4' walk-in shower? Ethington did that. We had to pay another contractor $810 to install a proper shower glass and door so that we didn't have to contort our bodies trying to enter a door that was too low and narrow.
He put floor grade Travertine tile in the same shower. It constantly gets deep holes - some as large as a dime. His electrician screwed up some wiring and made at least one splice outside of a box (a definite code violation). In the same bathroom, he vented the exhaust fan into the attic - another code violation.
His painters couldn't get a straight edge between wall and ceiling and used standard interior paint in the bathrooms and kitchen. His stucco subcontractors covered up the bathroom cleanout - we've never found it.
He didn't replace attic and wall insulation he removed during the remodel - we had to hire another contractor to drill holes in the walls and blow insulation in the voids and add insulation to the attic. The kitchen recessed lights were not insulated - instead of using the correct type, he just didn't bother replacing the insulation.
Many door hinges and cabinet hinges were either not reinstalled correctly or were as cheap as possible. Our linen closet hinges were misaligned and painted over, making it difficult to open and close the doors. They also fell apart quickly.
He jury rigged the gas line for the range and left it leaking - a major fire hazard. Air ducts were poorly attached to the registers and a large amount of air was leaking into the attic, causing alarmingly high cooling bills - anothe problem we had to pay another contractor to fix.
At the end, when we complained about the quality of the work, he told us that we didn't pay for high quality work. I guess $65,000 doesn't buy high quality from him.

We hired Shawn, Jeff and their awesome team. My wife and I had a double slab leak, sewage back up, third slab leak from December 2020 through April 2021. This construction company did the initial work to repair @2500 square feet of floor, ceiling, walls and kitchen. Outstanding job all around. My wife and I liked their work so much as well as the men themselves that we hired them again to fix the last to issues. We found the prices more than fair (in line with insurance allotments) and work top quality. Excellent company to have get your project to where u want it.
