This contractor's license is suspended and doesn't even operate an active business. Eurostone Masters is a sham, just read all the negative reviews and millions of complaints that his materials just chip right off.
Don't waste you hard-earned money.

BEWARE of this contractor! Tim Koester (Eurostone Masters in Ojai, California) installs a defective product with unacceptable, unprofessional workmanship.
Tim installed a countertop in my home and I DO NOT WISH his work upon anybody. His work is not calculated. He does not honor his warranty. He does not guarantee against water damage (the purpose of a having countertop!). He over promises and over sells himself. He does not have control of his tools and even relied on using mine! His sealant and "overlay system" is defective and it chips within ONE MONTH! His product won't last a couple of years before you need to replace it. This is money and time WASTED.
I paid Tim a 50% deposit and he began working. He left screws sticking out of my counters, he damaged cabinets, he cannot cut straight lines (sinks, cooktop, breakfast bar), and he cannot measure level, evenness, nor square. I could not accept the work and did not pay the rest after he AGREED to a deduction. He threatened me over the phone saying that he would report me to the city and file a lien on my house. One month later, I got a letter in the mail from the SB Court saying Eurostone Masters was SUING ME!
I now have to pay another company $1000+ to remove his defective materials and pay them to start all over again.
If it is not obvious to you by his other reviews and his F rating by the BBB, please do yourself a big favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTRACTOR. His license should be taken away and as the other review says "THIS GUY NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS."

Think twice before hiring this contractor. The product is flawed and the repair service is shameful. Once Tim has cashed your check, you are forgotten! We lost count of the voicemails we left - never once did Tim call back. My husband & I attended the Fall 2012 Ventura Home & Garden Show, just to talk to Tim in person. First, he claimed he didn't receive any of our voicemails over the last YEAR! Second, he asked for and wrote down our address/phone again and promised to contact us in 2-1/2 weeks. We never heard from Tim Koester again. This guy will promise to repair and repaint the numerous cracks and chips from his work, but the empty promise is only to get you out of his booth. This guys needs to be put out of business. We wasted $1800.00. I hope you don't waste your hard earned money too.

This contractor did work at my home 8 months ago, the previous owners had him re-do all the coping around the pool. During the escrow period the sellers tried and tried to get him out to repair the damage. We closed escrow and I have been trying to get him to come out to view the chipping and patches that have falling off the original work. We tried to call him back to repair flaking and chiping around the pool coping (the part he did), since March we have been trying to get him out to do the repairs and stand by his work. Everytime I talk to him he says he can be out there in 2 - 4 weeks and will let me know but never schedules an appointment, well almost never, he did schedule one in June but didn't show after his office confirmed the appointment. I have been very cordial and patient, but my patience has worn thin, just like his overlay "Eurostone".
He is very difficult to get a hold of and when you do, he says he has been too busy. Well if he is that busy, he should have assistants go do the quotes for repairs to work that he did originally. I would highly discourage someone from using him if he doesn't stand by his work.
THIS CONTRACTOR COMPLETELY RUINED MY JOB. THE MATERIAL IS CRACKING AND CHIPPING. I CHECKED HIS LICENSE AND IT IS EVEN CURRENTLY SUSPENDED!! I AM SO ANGRY WITH HIM!
