Please save yourself a lot of money and do not work with this company. I worked with Maverick Counts, the owner of Evergreen Fence in the past and had a great experience with him. I hired him back in July of 2022 for a small fence job. He asked for a cash deposit up front to get me on the schedule and claimed he would start in the next week or two. Time passed and the job had not been started and there was zero communication from him. I contacted him weeks after weeks to figure out when the job would be started. He gave nothing but excuses over and over again as to why he couldn’t start the job. Eventually communication stopped from him completely. After several months I requested my money back. He finally agreed to pay it back by a certain date. That date passed and he stated that he did not have the money. Finally I took things to small claims court. The judgement was granted in my favor, the due date had come and gone and he had still not made the payment to me. I am unable to get a hold of him. I have also found out that he has done this to other clients!
