If you’re considering hiring this contractor for a bathroom remodel, please, learn from my experience and look elsewhere. What was supposed to be a 2-week project stretched out to over 52 days, with endless excuses and delays. The quality of work? Shockingly poor.
First, the contractor took shortcuts every step of the way. He didn’t demo and replace all drywall as per the quote. The walls are “old walls” (I think plaster) and instead of doing a complete removal he replaced half of the wall with new drywall. The new drywall he installed wasn’t even cut correctly, so the heater register wouldn’t stay in place. His “fix”? Stuffing foam filler around it instead of actually addressing the issue.
He also used a “patch” on a pipe from the toilet. 2 yrs later I just paid $425 to have it fixed properly because it “fell off” and now have a hole in the wall in my “new” bathroom.
The tile work in the shower is another story. His workers failed to drill it correctly, leaving me with patchwork in what was supposed to be a sleek, new shower pan. The trim around the window and bathroom door was neglected—he didn’t replace, sand, or repaint it.
None of the results matched the quality of his online photos. I deeply regret not asking for references or viewing any of his past projects in person. Save yourself the frustration, time, and extra money, and find someone who will respect your time, budget, and the quality you’re paying for.
