    They actually go by the name '648 Renovations' to the public so they are a little deceptive about their legal name, perhaps on purpose. Robert McGivern who owns the company no longer works with this firm according to Robert but his business partner Ted Mihut runs the construction company. In 2015 they completed over $90k in renovation to my home. Unfortunately they misinformed me about not needing a permit for any of the work. I found out 3 years later by accident that I was in violation because they never pulled permits. They used unlicensed non english speaking subcontractors and employees to perform electrical and plumbing work which has proven to be faulty and of course it was never inspected by the county. I have now reported them to the state license board of general contractors and the investigation is currently underway(case #18C55). I hope they reap what they sow for what they have done to me a private home owner in Denver, NC. It appears that Ted doesn't like to pull permits anymore much at all even though they continue to stay busy with work; looking at the # of permits you list on this website in 2017(1 project) and 2018(none), this seems to be true. I am shocked you rate them so high but perhaps you just have not heard from enough people to know any better but also because nobody knows them by the name Family Construction and Remodeling.
