Manuel Soliz provided me a bid for adding and updating bathrooms in my house. We signed a contract and he committed to doing a good job and finishing on time. 2 1/2 months in and he wasn’t even 1/2 way done( he kept taking other jobs and deploying his team to those projects and leaving my project for last). Not only that but in his effort to get back on track he sent his employee to catch up and they ended up flooding my basement and not telling me about it. I didn’t know until I went to check in a few days after it had happened. It went down hill from there and he accused me of not knowing about construction because I was a woman. He refused to finish the project or refund me since I had already paid him more than 1/2. He also refused to pay for the damages of flooding my basement. Beware of Manuel Soliz from Fast Line Fab in Granger.

When first meeting him i honestly thought he was a honest business man. Hired him to do a new 40x50 shop , as ours burned down 2yrs ago. He wrote up an estimate along with a contract in which my husband and I reviewed, and signed it. We then proceeded on getting ours funds together to start the project. He said he needed enough to get the permits and trusses ordered. So we started with that. And then after he ordered that and received the permits he then asked for more funds to start prep work for the concrete pad and to get the pole holes ready for beams to be set. We set up for more funds to get to him. Each time he kept saying we would have our shop completed within 6wks. He always told us that once poles were up it would go quickly. We'll we started this project I believe in July and still not completed. We went on our yearly family vacation for 10 days and he told us he would have all framing complete and ready for inspection while we were gone. Got back nothing done. He gave excuses about equipment breakdowns and such. And on top of that, he was paid in full before we left. But he kept saying he needed it to order supplies. So when we get back, we call and say, what's up. Excuse again. Then he proceeds to come out and let us know that all funds have been spent and doesn't have anymore money to order the rest of the building. So here we sit with just a framed out shop, with no roofing or siding materials, or insulation. So my hubby working very hard on getting more funds together to pay for the materials. But this time we are going directly to the supplier. Learned our lesson on that one, yes the hard way. So not only did we have friends come over and finish the framing but now also relying on friends and family to come over and help with finishing the rest of it. And also he never worked full 8 he days. So if anyone is interested in hiring him, please don't fall for his excuses and kindness. Manuel Soliz as far as I'm concerned is a scammer. Just beware.
