    Replace driveway

    We hired them to replace our driveway because of cracks in the cement and the driveway would move up and down with moister and temperature. They solved the latter problem. We stayed off the driveway with our cars for 28 days as instructed. Within three months, cracks reappeared in the cement. We called on three occasions asking them to review the job. Three times they promised to come. They never came. We are not pleased with the result and they do not stand behind there work.

    It's easy to give 5 stars. I would give more if available!!

    This is the second time we've hired Fausina Construction (Sione) to
    do quality work for us. I don't understand the other negative reviews
    as our experience is as follows:

    Two yrs. ago we hired Sione to tear out the cracked old concrete on our
    double driveway, put in new concrete and seal it. He did an excellent job
    and the concrete still looks perfect today. We receive many compliments
    on how good it looks.

    Sione has never asked for any money up front. We've always paid him
    after he finished the job. Also never had any issues with him not
    returning our calls or texts, he always responds promptly.

    This recent job involved cement work for the foundation on a carport
    we're having built. We called and Sione promptly came to our home,
    looked at the area, checked the drawings, discussed everything with us,
    did measurements, and we received a written estimate with a very
    good price. Upon agreement, Sione arrived on time on date specified.
    Everything was discussed again, forms layed out to make sure it was
    exactly what we wanted and were pleased with how it would look before
    the cement truck arrived.
    We had approved drawings of our carport and a building permit.
    The foundation was done, inspected, and passed.

    Sione and his crew were courteous, friendly, professional, and very had
    working. His goals were to do an excellent job and make sure we were
    pleased. Everything was cleaned up before they left.

    We plan to have more cement work done next year and will definitely be
    calling Sione back again. We highly recommend Faustina Construction.

    Build a retaining wall and re-seal my swimming pool concrete deck

    I hired Faustina Construcion to build a retaining wall around my rear deck and garden area and to re--seal my surrounding cement pool deck. They are all Tongans. The boss refused to give me any written estimates (that should have been my first red flag), and he only wanted cash payments. The price increased because of lack of a written estimate, We came to a deal however and the deck was stained and resealed, The retaining wall work however was not completed and the 18 ft straight section on the wall drifts away from my deck such that now I have a 2 inch gap at one end. Additionally, there is an approximate 6" x 8" area that is open, never completed that we found this fall when we were clearing out some dead flowers. I have attempted to contact Faustina Construction over a half dozen times to come back and complete the job to no avail. They will not answer my calls or messages (with photos) that I have sent them. I guess since they literally took $10,000 of cash from me, they are happy and will not return to complete the job. They are a very bad company in my opinion.

    This Company was great at the start.

    They were really great at the beginning but towards the end it became terrible.

    We tried to get them to come back to put our fence and sprinklers back together after they were done. But Days went by and NO return calls we found out he went on vacation.
    A month or more went by before they came and put everything back together this is after us calling them many times and finally speaking to his partner.

    The next thing we started to notice about two months in to this project was a crack in the cement where we plan to put our pool. Of course we called and texted them to come. They said they would come and look at it but NO SHOW and NO RETURN CALL'S or TEXT'S. We have yet to used our swimming pool this summer in fear of getting water in the crack.

    We were told by one of the partners that they would need to cut the crack piece out. This was told to us way back at the beinning of July 2017 a month ago.

    They do do good work when they SHOW UP!

    They have their money. I guess that's all that matters to them. Not the customer!
