    Make a completely enclosed deck.
    $7,000

    Todd said $7000 to make a completely enclosed deck, 10'x10' out of redwood.
    Then he told me redwood would still need painting so fir and larch would be cheaper with same maintenance. He didn't enclose it. One vinyl window won't close completely. The door is hung wrong. Air comes in there and everywhere. When it rains rain comes in through openings in roof. dHe put in a gauaged roof metal panel. Didn't bother to check it first. The door closure bends with the wind when open. Since he put in fir and larch he should have refunded me money. At the time of this project, fir and larch was about .59 or .69 a foot. $2.69 was the price of redwood. He said he'd get back to me.
    He is always out of town now working for FEMA. He does extremely shoddy work. The inside is getting shabby from rain on the floor whenever it rains and it is so cold. He said, "you said a deck". Yes, I said a completely enclosed deck. Then he said then that is called a room. Enclosed means enclosed.
    I am still waiting for him to fix this. Looks like he is going to ignore me unless there is some intervention.
    Never hire this guy.
    One of the metal roof panels bangs in the wind. He didn't nail it down right. The floor has a screw that sticks up.
