This contractor was supposed to repair and re-stain my late uncle's deck, after my mother, age 86 and living in FL, inherited his house. I trusted him to do the job (I also live in FL) and trusted him when he said it was completed. It wasn't. Despite lots of phone calls and e-mails, he never finished the re-staining, so we had to list it for sale looking terrible. I feel like I was taken advantage of in what was already a very difficult situation.

Fontaine Remodeling's service and communication is UNTOUCHABLE in the industry. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They did a wonderful job on my deck project completing it much quicker than I expected. I've dealt with my fair share of contractors who don't return calls or don't return texts, who miss appointments or don't ever show up, never finish the job and don't actually listen to what you are looking for. It was such a refresher dealing with the owner Chris, who worked hard, actually responded and got the job done. Chris was always easy to get ahold of, a very approachable guy. He listened to everything that I was requesting and asked questions to clarify what I was looking for. I can't say enough about Chris and his company except that they probably need to charge more for their work. Outstanding service, and quick turnaround! I 100% recommend this company for your next project.
