I will not use A1 ever again. They did a pool inspection for us this summer when we were buying our home and seemed very knowledgeable and trustworthy so we contacted them at the end of august to do some repairs and close our pool. Originally Craig told me he would be able to schedule our work in about a week. He kept giving us the run-around before saying he needed a deposit to schedule the work and ordered the specialized caulk we needed. So we gave him $2000 in a check written out to a Vance Forchetti. It still took another month (mid November) for them to finally come out and repair and close our pool. Once Craig had our money, he was fairly unresponsive and difficult to get on the phone but we had to stick with him because he had so much of our money! When they finally arrived to do the work, they wanted another $1200 CASH before they would even begin the work. The guy who was the lead talker was very rude, condescending and intimidating, constantly telling me that they didn’t need my business and would just leave if I didn’t give him $1200 cash. Mind you, they had been sitting on our $2000 for a month. The whole job was about $3500, so they wanted about 95% CASH before they did anything! Very difficult to work with, unkind and felt like a giant scam. I think they did a good job but it wasn’t work the stress and aggravation they caused us. I would never use again. Craig Forchetti is associated with multiple pool companies which makes me think he must change the name every couple years once he burns enough bridges and gets enough bad reviews. I absolutely would not use again.
