I purchased a new built home constructed by Guy Lakmann with a builder’s warranty. The roof leaked the first year. 3 months later, the roof was caulked but flashing and ceiling repair has not been performed. The home inspector that came to assess further leak damage found the fireplace was un-vented, which is illegal in California. 3 months after reporting the problem, a new fireplace has not been ordered. Guy does not respond to phone calls and barely replays to text messages after reaching out several times.
