If this review was based solely on the work done, it would be 4 stars. Aside from failing the post inspection by the city of Beaverton due to an additional grounding wire not being added for the new fuse/circuit panel, the electricians did a great job. The front office was another matter. Apparently they were going through a big employee turnover of office staff, but that's really no excuse. When they first scheduled my job in early September for mid-October 2022, I mailed them 50% of the total cost of the job. The checked cleared a few weeks later and I called to follow up to be sure they received it. Yet when the lead electrician had me sign off on the work done in October 2022, he said I owed the full amount. After I assured him I had already paid half, he took a photo of my check carbon and accepted a check for the other 50%, explaining about the office turnover and a possible mix-up with my first payment. When another electrician returned to add the grounding wire about a week after the initial work was completed following the failed city inspection, I checked to see that my second 50% check payment had cleared. The following week, I received a bill by email for the other 50% plus a $375 permit fee. When I called to complain that I had already paid, it took several days before the office manager called me back to say that they found my money had been applied to someone else's account, but had been corrected, and I only owed $375. I initially told the manager I would pay, but decided to request that the $375 be waived for the mishandling of my account and the extended time for the grounding wire/inspection. They did not value my business enough to offer any kind of discount at all, so I paid the $375 and will not be using their services again.
