    Kitchen renovation
    $58,000

We hired CGR Design Build to do a kitchen renovation which is another company run by Robert Garon. Completion date was estimated to be 5/7/21 but the project if on 30% complete although we’ve given him 70% of the money. It’s been lies after lies, broken promises and the work that has been done is subpar at best. Robert has done little of the work, although he said he did everything but plumbing and electrical. Most of the work has been done by a junior carpenter, which explains the poor quality. We also found out from suppliers that Robert has been voicing checks. Don’t hire either Garon Elliot or CGR Design Build.

Install front door, storm door and basement door

I hired Garron to measure and install 3 doors with the prospect of doing additional work after. Garron took a 50% deposit and then failed to show up all but about 12 hrs over 3 weeks. The front door was "roughed in" and left for 4 days before he returned, cut off the protruding shims. He partially installed 2 doors and I fired him when he found the $600 custom storm door he measured out was the wrong size. He promised a refund then disappeared. Folks should not hire Garron. He's got some kind of problem that makes him lie, cheat, and not show up for promised appointments.
