The Short Version: Gary is extremely knowledgeable and thorough and his rates are very reasonable, plus - due to the extensive issues I've had (see The Long Version below) he kindly didn't charge me for having to access my sewer line from the roof, which is typically extra. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
The Long Version: 1 month after spending almost $6k on sewer repairs (root balls infiltrating the line), the plumbing company I used then recommended I replace the entire line because it was still backing up but they couldn't see anything with their camera except muddy water (indicative of another break) due to an "inaccessible" bend/turn in my sewer line. They then called the city and had them scope from the mainline, and the city found more root balls where my line meets the city's mainline, but were apparently unable to fully access my entire line due to this bend. The plumbing company then came back out, cut out the additional root balls and applied root killer, however, they still couldn't definitively tell me whether there was another crack due to the bend.I called Gary Hill and talked to him extensively about this issue and he came out a couple days later (which was yesterday). Lo and behold, he was able to access this bend in the line and even make it all the way through to the city mainline where he found a potential issue that may be causing my problems. He is now contacting the city to inform them of his findings and compare his footage with the recent footage the city took of their mainline. I'm not sure what the resolution of all of this will be, but he was able to access a part of my sewer line that neither the city nor the plumbing company were able to access with their cameras and he was able to rule out the "potential break" (the main reason it was recommended to spend an additional almost $15k for a new line) as well as diagnose that what is likely the actual issue is coming from the city's mainline and not mine. Looks like I won't be replacing my whole line and I have only Gary to thank for that!!!
