  Small house, connect to septic, shed

  January 2023,
  I hired Genesis remodeling, Antonio Galarza was the project manager. They build a small house in my back yard. They was told that we have a septic tank, and was asked multiple times “ do you know how to work with it”. They told us yes each time. I noticed water in the trench they made, but was told, we will fix it. Then was told it was fixed, they covered it with dirt. They finally finished the house and we trusted him because he always answered or returned our calls. He always gave updates and helped shop for cheaper options. So we paid him all of the balance. Well now there’s water coming up from the ground where they covered up the trench. There’s also small jobs in the house that need to be fixed. Now Antonio will not answer his phone or text.

  Patio cover to existing slab, gutters and stamped concrete floor

  Luis Sixtos added a patio cover to an existing concrete slab and added a stamped concrete floor. The stain on the floor was done during the rain and the uncovered parts bubbled and is terribly spotted showing penny size spots of the original concrete. Sections under the cover have also began to peal less than 6 months in. The stucco columns used for support the cover are currently showing fracture cracks and the gutters are improperly installed dumping water near my back door. Please don't use this guy. He has disappeared and several other people he has done work are looking for him to correct problems they are having.

  The work they done was very very very unprofessional Kaytranada materials in a different contractors paid over paid over half of the cost and even get a third of the job done kept coming up with excuses and they’re coming out of pocket expense to finish my restroom that is a very sorry company I strongly highly recommend not want to use them at all they do not know what they’re doing they come talking a lot of BS and never get the job done on time

  bathroom remodel

  $13,000

  Bad bathroom remodel from Genesis. Luis Sixto owns the company and has horrible workers. They ran out of one color grout so continued with another color to finish the job, shower floor is coming apart, faucet handle is crooked, shower door leaks, etc. Luis said he would fix my grout problems & I never saw him again. I am in the process of filing through small claims court now.

  Put a new roof on townhome, reframe and put roof on garage

  We hired Genesis Remodeling in November 2017 to put a new roof on our townhome and garage. Luis Sixtos was in charge of the job. We had numerous issues with him and his workers during this time. Apart from Luis being totally unreliable, items were borrowed then taken from our garage. Finally returned after numerous requests.
  Our garage door opener was broken by someone Luis hired to frame the garage so the garage roof did not dip in the middle as it had when the roof was supposedly finished. Luis tried to blame it on our garage door opener which was working perfectly when the job began, in fact we had made sure before he started that it would not affect the garage door opener.
  Luis finally hired another contractor to fix the garage door opener. When we had problems with it a few months later and contacted the same contractor, he advised us Luis had never paid him for that job. The contractor did not want to work on our garage door opener and said he would never work for Luis again.
  In August of 2018 we contacted Luis as we had a couple of leaks in our roof. House and Garage. He repeatedly lied to us about coming out to check on it. Made times to come out and didn't show up and hung the phone up on us more than once. He basically gave us the run around.
  After numerous phone calls and messages Luis finally sent out a roof inspector to look at our roof in September 2018.
  The inspector confirmed we had leaks that needed to be fixed and other issues where the roof had not been sealed. All of which would not have been a problem if the job had been completed properly in the first place.
  The roof inspector submitted a bid with photos to Genesis and Luis and planned to complete the work the following week, but was never given the confirmation to do the work.
  Since then we have attempted to phone, email and send letters to the main office. The phone numbers and email addresses do not work, mail has been returned unopened and when we physically went to the main office at 9555 W Sam Houston Parkway, we were told by the building manager that Genesis Remodeling no longer lease that office.
  We have contacted The Better Business Bureau who completed an investigation. They were not able to contact anyone associated with this company and gave them an F Rating.
  There is absolutely no way we would recommend Genesis Remodeling to anyone.
  When we hired them we were assured and have the paperwork to show that we have a 30 year Warranty on our roof. This means absolutely nothing if you are unable to get a response from the company !!!!!
