  Driveway Sealcoating

  $1,500

  If you read this before you fall for the scam then good on you! Unfortunately I fell for the same scam that others here did. Two guys (Tony and Sonny) driving around the neighborhood in a pickup truck saying that they have "extra" sealcoating and can offer me a "deal" on my driveway. The deal was that I pay $1500 and they very lightly spray my driveway. No edging, no crack sealing, just a leaf blower and light coat of what is probably not even sealcoat. After rushing to MY bank to immediately cash the check once they left my house; they did eventually come back to look once I complained and Tony agreed that it was a light inconsistent coat. He said he would spray another coat but that was over 2 months ago. He is now blowing me off. Sonny, the one who actually did the spraying was rude and disagreed that it was a poor job.

  Reseal Driveway

  $200

  Glow did our driveway and after a week, they drove back through the neighborhood and decided they could do better (I didn't have an issue). They sprayed a 3rd coat at no charge to remove any streaks they saw. I'm satisfied with the work/$$ ratio. Thanks!

  driveway sealing

  I just had our driveway sealed after 5+ years of neglect and significant use. Anthony and Sonny were prompt and professional. They have breathed new life into a driveway that probably needed to be redone. They patched a lot of holes and spent quality time prepping it prior to sealing it. They kept us informed and made sure we liked the finished product. Was it perfect? No but that would be the years of neglect. They did a great job, and we will definitely use them again!

  Driveway sealing

  The man knocked my door and told me my drive way need to be sealing although I just did it less than 2 years ago. I agreed to let him to do it at the price he asked. In the middle during his sealing, I found he coating very thin and some spot not sprayed evenly and did not coated. I ask him to pay attention, he immediately ask if I want to pay him to do second coating instead to spay more to cover those spot that did not coated. I refused to pay more money to do 2nd coat and write a check at the asked price. He refused to accept my check and ask pay cash. He then followed me to my bank to get cash but refused to give me a receipt. I definitely would not recommend to use this company.

  Uncharacteristically, we hired Glow Construction on the spot when a rep came door-to-door around our neighborhood. Richard was very personable and worked with us for a fair price to recoat our driveway asphalt. They did a good job on that. Since we had them there, we also hired them to fix the chips and paint our concrete porch on an upcoming day that we would be out of town. The completed project was neat and better than it was before, but I feel like we may have overpaid for the work that was done. Glow construction was to repair the chips, but not all the rough spots were filled in. We were told the gray concrete paint would be the same color as our current concrete, but it was a bit lighter and bluer than we'd thought. (I should have insisted on seeing the paint color before agreeing to the work.) Also, communication was excellent on the work day, but I've had a couple requests for information afterwards and I haven't heard back responses. So, overall, I'll give four of five stars.

  Driveway patch and seal

  I’m very happy with the job these guys did on my driveway. They did everything they said they’d do and did an excellent job. They also came back to check on their work a few days later and see if they’d missed anything. They are very friendly and really do care about customer satisfaction!

  Driveway Sealcoating

  $1,400

  This company is a scam artist! I met Richard and we came to an agreement on a driveway sealing job. Was told I didn't need to be there. Come out of work and there's an urgent voicemail to call. I call and Richard tells me "Your driveway was so bad, I knew you wouldn't be happy, I talked to your daughter and she authorized and 2nd coat.".

  1. My daughter can't authorize work, I also talked to he and she said she never said such a thing.
  2. Richard wanted me to pay $700 extra, I refused to do so on work I didn't agree to.
  3. Richard wouldn't accept a check made payable to the company! Instead, he insisted I make it to Sonny Evans.
  4. Richard brought "muscle" with him when it was time to collect the bill. After I was verbally threatened, I removed them from my driveway.
  5. Richard blocked my driveway and wouldn't leave until I wrote a check to Sonny Evans.
  6. When I told them to leave my private road, he threatened to come back and "F my little bitch ass up" and pulled off

  AVOID!!!! This is a classic scam. The driveway job looks like crap. They didn't edge, they didn't remove the grass growing in the cracks, etc. This is the worst driveway job I've ever had done.

  Fills large cracks in driveway & reseal entire driveway

  $950

  Two men, one was Sonny but not sure of the other's name, stopped at our driveway & said they would repair all large cracks & seal coat our driveway. They got their money (which was pricey at $950!), then proceeded to work so quickly I could not believe it. The next day the cracks we were concerned about & they promised to repair opened right up again. After 2+ weeks of calling them, they came back & did a sloppy job of closing the cracks again. Even though we were promised total satisfaction even if they had to reseal the driveway, they refused to do so without us paying additional money. Really???!!! If they had done things right the first time, it would not have to be resealed! Now we are left with cracks that are patched over & stick out like a sore thumb. AND to add insult to injury, some of the cracks are opening up again. Clearly they are using substandard materials & do not stand behind their work. WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! And remember this work was only done a little over a month ago...shouldn't driveway sealing last a couple of years, not a day?

  Repair and seal driveway

  Richard and Sonny did a fantastic job on my driveway. There were many deep cracks and they made it look great. They were up front, honest and hard working. I would highly recommend them. Good people!

  Sealcoating & patch Driveway

  Sonny is a hard working honest small businessman. He stands by his work. Fair prices. He kept his promise & came back 2 weeks later to check the job and touched things up. We are very satisfied & grateful for his talent and honesty. Thanks Sonny!
