Christian Wayne Gray
Owner
Chris Gray was hired by the previous owner of my new house to fix a few problems that he failed to disclose. Chris seemed like a good guy until today when he failed to fix two of the problems properly, as previously agreed. For example, he installed shower valves that cannot accommodate the kind of handles that I need to match the other bathroom hardware, even though he knew my requirements in advance. When I expressed my concern over the phone, he immediately began yelling at me and when I asked, "Is this how you treat your customers?" he replied "You're not my customer." Apparently, because the previous owner is paying the bill, he felt no responsibility to me. I also learned today that, because he is aligned with the interests of the previous buyer rather than mine, he gave me bad advice regarding a problem with electrical outlets throughout the house that probably need to be replaced because they're dangerous. A contractor who encourages you to ignore a potentially dangerous problem is not one that I'd recommend.
