I contracted windows for a planned tear out. Great Day Improvements / Patio Enclosures took the final payment when I still had open holes in my walls with no windows installed. When asked to refund the final payment until the work was done, they claimed they had satisfied the 'substantial completion' clause in the contract and had the right to take final payment. What !?! Even when they were done, I had a door installed that wouldn't even open or close. This doesn't even mention the actual product quality from the window manufacturer. The 'insulated' windows leak like sieves and cold air can be felt blowing across the room. Ridiculous. Never do business with Great Day Improvements. Really.
