  Roof and Kitchen remodel

  Hello, My Name is Paul Dube- Owner of AM-PM Roofing. John hired my Company as a subcontractor to install a roof for His customer located on 5 Bethke Rd, in Killingworth on August 4th, 2021. The roofing job cost $14,000 of which John paid ZERO! This caused me to have an attorney place a mechanics lein on the property that is owned by the nice people who hired John Spradlin to install the roof. John is not an honest person and CONSUMERS should avoid Doing Business with Green Village Builders, located in Middletown CT, unless you enjoy having mechanics liens placed on your property. John has also stolen $40,000.00 from a customer of his Named Stewart Magoveny His number is 1-203-907-6172, Mr Magovney reached out to me after reading my poor Google review of Green Village Builders.   Full home remodel

  I would not recommend hiring this contractor. It started out ok, but then quickly went down hill. Had a contract with him 9/2020 for a full house remodel, he missed completion date of March 2021, and breached his own contract, by walking off the job in August 2021. He was 6 months past the completion date and blamed everyone else but himself. He was rarely on site working, weeks would go by with no one at our home working. The home was vacant and gutted prior to contract he had access to the home 24 hrs a day. He did not oversee any of his subcontractors, lacked communication skills, never issued change orders, we had to babysit him and ask for weekly progress reports so he'd do the work. It was a NIGHTMARE working with him. Took him over 12 weeks to hang dry wall, which all had to be fixed! Ripples, bumps, a mess! He did not care about us or our project, such a disappointment. We had to correct his mistakes, redo the drywall, some plumbing, painting of ceilings and hire someone else to finish all that he did not do, making it very costly for us. Hardwood floors were put in incorrectly and he wouldn't tell us who put them so we could have them fixed. He ordered and installed 3 incorrect sliding glass doors and wouldn't own up to his mistake when we confronted him, he was unapologetic about anything we confronted him with. He left our home in shambles and incomplete. Professionalism and attention to detail not good. He asked us for more money, which we said no to, as he had no escalation clause in his contract. He also stole $6k from us for deck materials which he never purchased and shortly after that, he walked of the job by sending us an email. He ignores all our attempts at contacting him to return our money. We had many sleepless night working with Mr. Spradlin. He is not an honest person. It was such an awful experience. He also lets his license lapse. He can't be trusted. Maybe at one time, but not now. We read all the wonderful reviews too, but don't be fooled. He left us high and dry with no materials to finish his work. Very costly to us. This was our future retirement / dream. He owes other people money too!
