Greg Alsip
Owner
this is unbelievable but it is absolutely the truth. i have video of unit to confirm..mr alsip a plumber of many years installed a tankless water heater, charged 5000.00 for this job. the lady that owns this home is a friend of mine. periodically the carbon minoxide detector would go off, so i checked all the gas appliances and found nothing, this occured about 3 times over a year that i can confirm. she had also been complaining of naseau headaches, etc, as with the rest of the household. she called the fire dept and they came out to check it out using their more sensitive equipment. while i was under the house with 1 fireman she was up in the bathroom with the other fireman. ithe fireman with me found no signs of carbon minoxide using his detector and i was baffled, as we were exeting from under the home i heard the other firemans detector go off, beeping like crazy then as we got close to entering the bath from outside the home, my firemans detector went off and the fireman told us to get out of home now and we exited. what had set the alarm off was that the lady had turned on hot water in shoiwer and thats when detector went crazy, the firemen wrote up a report detailing their findings. i called greg alsip and asked him to come by and look at her water heater that he installed and said there is a problem. he stops by and has a detector in his hand and proceeded to tell the lady that the reason the firemans detector went off was due to steam from hot water then when she complained of naseau, headaches etc. he said it was corona and never one time used the detector in his hand to investigate the firemans findings, rfeally minimizing the problem.everyone in the home was getting worse, i am a plumber as well and after gregs weak explanation of why alarm was sounding and saying everyone had corona i started to investigate so i purchased a detector and i have video of this, i took detector under home and turned on water heater and opoened valve on hot side and unit fired up and my detector went crazy, over 2000 ppm, no joke, i got the hell out of there and after further investigation i determined that greg never switched out the orfices. we c oukld have died, every tgime the hot water was used the carbon minoxide was soo strong it would penetrate through thbe slightest voiud in the floor , duct of void in general and cause our home detector to go off and the level has to be way high to set off a home detector, i wouldnt let greg plumb a outhouse hes not qualified to be a plumber and when we tried contacting him he blocked our phone numbers, once again, no joke 100 percent true. he shouldnt hold a plumbing license for any state. if you hire mr alsip you better hire another plumber to check his work. he could have cared less if we had died as a result of his incompetence. HE BLOCKED OUR CALLS, WHO DOES THAT, THIS WAS A SERIOUS MATTER AND HE HAD BEEN INFORMED OF MY FINDINGS AND STILL TGO THIS DAY NO RESPONSE FROM GREG.
