    To say we are satisfied with the home flip Gulfshore Enterprises has given us would be an understatement, it has completely changed our lives. We were unfortunate enough to have been gravely affected by hurricane Helene. We hired this company to handle the restoration and remodel, and we could not be happier with the results. The entire project took just over four months, and while that might sound like a long time, walking back into our beautifully restored home made it feel like no time at all. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing construction and renovation services!

    pull a permit for a driveway project

    On December 31st, 2019, I have received a notice of violation from the city of Tampa regarding a driveway project for my address at 1510 W PATTERSON ST, TAMPA, FL, 33604.
    As I talked to the building permit department at the city of Tampa, they suggested me to find a local general contractor or a company that can pull appropriate permits, and do the driveway.
    For this reason, since I am a young guy with no experience in the construction industry, I contacted my realtor Yishin Wiggs to find me a company/contractor to help me with this project.
    This is how I met with Clint Smith II and his company Gulfshore Enterprises LLC. Since my realtor was my reference, I did not have a doubt of trusting him and his company.
    He made an offer to do a job and we negotiated and agreed on $2000 for the entire job. I paid him the full amount of $2000 upfront and he sent me an invoice through an online app.
    A few days later, I sent all the documents (survey and site plans) that he needs (he was supposed to gather all the docs and prepare it for the city) and sent him to submit it to the city of Tampa.
    He asked me to print them at FEDEX and dropped to his office. Long story short I did everything that was required to pull a permit by the city and dropped to his office.
    He finally submitted everything to the building department on January 24th. He told me that it should not take more than a few days for the city to approve the permit since its small project.

    After 3 weeks, my patience was over and I decided to go to the building permit department to talk to them what is going on because we still have not gotten our permit.
    Every time I called him during these 3 weeks, he keeps saying "it is gonna be alright they just take their time" one excuse after another.
    3 weeks later I decided to go to the city of Tampa to investigate and learn what is actually going on. By coincidence, I saw him talking to the front lady about his other 2 projects, of course not mine.
    He was surprised seeing me since he did not expect me (because from the beginning no matter how much I insisted on going with him to the city of TAMPA) he kept pushing me back and saying "no man I better go there myself alone, I know my ways to talk those people over there I don't want you to involve." So, I just took it easy with him and waited for him to do the job his way since I paid him the full amount, so I expected service from him like any customer.
    I asked him since we both here let's talk to someone to solve our issue because the permit has not been approved for 3 weeks. He said "I am not supposed to be here I will deal with you tomorrow here is your ticket, if you wanna talk to them go ahead they are on the second floor."
    Then he left the building and I went upstairs to learn whats going on. In about 15-20 secs later he left the building, I received a phone call from him, he started yelling at me.
    "I told you I am gonna deal with your case tomorrow, why you keep pushing me." We argued and he started yelling and cursing at me and hunged up the phone. This was the last time we talked.

    I wanted to write my experience with this company and its owner in all details, so anyone who reads it before working with him can have an idea about this contractor is a FRAUD and should stay away from him.
    He uses his roofing license and advertises himself as a general contractor to pull permits for any type of work in all around TAMPA BAY AREA. this guy and his company are not legit at all.
    He got my $2000 and run away and refused to do the work as well as yelling and cursing at me.
    I will do everything in my power legally to stop him from working and scamming innocent people.
