I was given a referral from a associate because I am new to Lawrence Kansas. I contacted Steve Harvey on August 15 to install a gas line in my newly purchased home. He gave me a bid and said he would come by Tuesday to the work. He no showed and didn't call. I contacted him and he said he would be there Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. He again no showed and didn't call. I contacted him again and was told Friday if not early Saturday that he would call. Again no show and no call. Finally, he said for sure he would be there 8:30am Sunday. I confirmed he had all my phone numbers and that he would finally be there. He no showed again. I tried to call but he will not return my call. If he wasn't able to do the work why didn't he just tell me from the beginning? I have never been treated so rudely. I cannot believe a person would treat another person like this. I am embarrassed for myself and for the person who referred these people on the assumption they would be reliable and do a good job. I cannot understand how people with no customer service remain in business. Shame on me for allowing this behavior to go on as long as I did. I am ten days without a dryer so Monday I have to try and find a reliable company. I did not have any problems with the other companys I contracted with just this one Go figure.

I began a home renovation project that I thought I could handle. Boy was I wrong. My mother referred these guys to me because she'd used them for all of her rental properties. They bailed me out and got my water heater installed before my in-laws showed up for my daughter's graduation. They actually saved me some money because I bought the wrong water heater.
