Absolutely DO NOT hire this contractor! The workmanship is deplorable, as is the owner's professionalism. The contractor purchases less expensive/lower quality materials then what is expected by the home owner. Wrong items were repeatedly purchased which had to be returned to the store. Building supplies were always delivered to the job site in small quantities that fit on the back of the contractor's personal truck. Some members of the work crew are inexperienced, lazy, and had to be replaced. The estimated time for a job to be completed far exceeds what the contractor states. Numerous short cuts are taken. The crew walked off the job before work was completed because of the contractor's failure to pay them. The contractor also failed to acquire building and electrical permits to ensure work was up to code. The owner of the company are currently under investigation by the MD Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (DLLR), and a claim has been made against his business insurance. Photo evidence has been provided for the investigation and claim.
