I have been waiting more than 90 days to to have Helms repair an issue. They do not respond to my calls. I would not recommend them at all!

I would actually like to give this company a negative star. They are very quick to want your business, however, if there is a problem they forget you. Had work finished January 31, 2017. Waited for them to return to clean up, after several contacts cleaned up ourselves. Found problems and started contacting them about the problems in April 2017. NO RESPONSE except that it would be turned over to the owner, John. Continuous attempts to have problem resolved and there was always an excuse (illness, out of town, rain, storming, hurricane, extremely busy). Then they told us office help was fired due to not relaying messages and we were NOT THE ONLY ONE. Now, John, the owner says it has been two years and so THEY WILL DO NOTHING. First it has been 16 months, of which we have been attempting contact to fix the problem for 14 months. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

I found Helms Aluminum to have good workmanship once you tell them what you want they get to it. The only problem is with follow up from their front office you have stay on them.
They tend to say they will call back and forget to call. This was my only problem with them.

I did not have a good experience with them. The job started late, took longer and I had several call backs on problems. The county inspector basically failed them on a few items that were not to code. The mismeasured and didn't align the doors with the concrete pad. The baby fence was not to code and within two weeks the gate latch and hooks broke. The work was done haphazardly and it is my opinion they rushed the job too much to make money. In the end things worked out (mostly because I withheld payment) but it was a big hassle. Im sorry but I would not recommend them.

I gave John a negative review but would like to amend it. He just came out himself and corrected my problems with in 15 minutes. He explained to me that he is suffering from help problems, the same as many businesses today. YES, I would hire him again
