Doug is a very personable guy but he did a terrible job on my kitchen. The day that he started I ended up in emergency room and had to have bypass surgery so I was not here while he was working. When I got home he didn’t do everything I paid him for, even though we talked about it extensively before I hired him. I had hired him to change the drain boards in my kitchen to build some drawers. When we talked about the drain boards I asked him to please leave area next to the stove that was brick because I put pans that are still hot on it. He covered that area with countertop, there is glue on my floor, glue drips on my cabinets, he ordered more countertop than needed so I had this huge sheet left over and he left it in my basement I have no idea what to do with it. I asked him to put a piece of the material that he covered the countertop with in the area under the sink. He didn’t add the drawers. He did not return my calls and when I did get him, by chance, chance he told me I was “on his whiteboard“. That must be a heck of a long white board because he hasn’t called me back and it’s been three years. I do not believe that the job he did was professional and it would not recommend him it was a very expensive lesson for me.
