  You think these examples are bad. Take a look at Heurich's work at 5218 Karrington Drive in Pine Township. The brick around the front porch has fallen away from the house. The brick work that still stands is some of the worst brick work I have ever seen. The windows are so badly deteriorated that a back window is now boarded up. Other Heurich’s in the neighborhood don’t look much better. Three generations of builders – what a joke.

  I bought a Heurich house and it was a piece of junk. The floors were out of level (in some rooms as much as 1 1/2 inches) and the floors squeaked everywhere! The house was illegally wired (three bathrooms and the garage all run off one breaker). The house settled so much it fractured a window frame in one room and pulled another window out of the framing. Heurich did not use house wrap (even Ryan uses house wrap). Insulation was tossed over the bathroom vents traping moist hot air between framing members. The other Heurich homes in our neighborhood had similar issues. His crews have no respect for him and know he wont hold them accountable for poor quality work. Save yourself a lot of disappointment and look elsewhere.

  Heurich Services Inc in Wexford is apparently a good builder. And I say apparently because in reality my house is only 4 years old and the roof is leaking. Heurich has not looked at the issue but insists it must be somebody else's fault. Perhaps he is correct, but his unwillingness to even take a look at the problem tells me he is not willing to stand behind his product.
