He was hired to put in a set of code compliant stairs. The county came to inspect and not one thing was code compliant. The height was less than 30 inches. This does not require railings. He told us it did require railings. This was an extra $800. The stairs were attached to the manufactured home. Nothing is to be attached to a manufactured home. He messed up the concrete pad twice. It was off center. Now since the stairs need moved away from the house more concrete needs to be added. I told him I do not want the railings and now he has said he is mot coming back to finish. I payed him $2400 to get code compliant stairs. I don’t have code compliant stairs and I am requesting a refund. He won’t refund.
