Our experience was good working with Housman homes. But can't say much for the granite company they use. Sol Granite wouldn't do anything about a discoloration that occured on bath vanity. If you purchase a home ask who is doing the granite, cause if it's Sol and there's an issue your on your own.

Bought a home in 2006 they built, cost me $1200 to have roof vents put in they left off, my back patio door was designed for 2 x 4 construction not 2 x 6 so the striker cuts into the drywall everytime you open and close the door, they use the lowest grade concrete so it cracks like a saltine cracker have cracks everywhere, most recent is basement floor where they did not use metal wire in the floor to prevent cracking, floor is now cracking and heaving cause wall and ceiling damage. I referenced to this contractor as save a buck bob, and believe me if there's a short cut they'll take it. Your loss is their gain.
