We used Hugoboom Roofing three years ago for a roof over a remodeled room and were very pleased with the work. When it was time to replace our main roof, we called Paul for a quote. He promised high quality work ("as though it's my own home"), estimated a month to complete the project, and gave a competitive bid. That was August 2020 and work began a month later. The experience was very stressful for us. The demo left debris everywhere, including inside the house, the workmanship was poor - nails went through the ceiling in 3 rooms and required repair and repainting, accidental damage was done on the roof to our A/C pipe and internet cable line, boards were nailed improperly, painting was sloppy. With each issue we had to call Paul who was often busy with some other projects. He instructed his team to do repairs, but they weren't doing the quality work we expected. Added costs made the roof much more expensive and he didn't provide any written invoices. After weeks of back and forth we had to schedule the final inspection ourselves the end of November. The good news is that the roof doesn't leak and it's behind us.

Unfortunately working with Paul was a struggle. He said the process of demolition and application of a new roof would take 1 month. The demolition alone took 2 months and the entire process took 6 months. As soon as he received the final check he disappeared. I had to schedule the final permit inspection myself. Fortunately our roof looks good and doesn’t leak, but the entire process was painful and long.

We used Paul to fix some leaks we had in our roof and replace some damaged wood. The work was done quickly, his crew cleaned up afterwards and we are very happy with the work and the price was reasonable
