I contracted Imperial Home Remodeling, LLC on April 4, 2016 to remove my existing flat roof on my mobile home and replace it with a new one. Giovanni Esposito (President/Owner) inspected the roof and guaranteed that his company can handle this type of work. He signed a binding contract and guaranteed the work will get done within 1-2 weeks. I made a down deposit payment of 1K. On April 14, 2016, I contacted their office to check on the status of the roof. They informed that because of the rainy days we had the week prior they were behind on scheduled but would have the team come out the next day (April 15, 2016). On Friday morning I was informed that his roofer was sick and would not make it. This was very surprising as I was told by Mr. Esposito that he had four teams that specializes in roofing and would get the job done by the deadline. I spoke to Edward (Imperial Project Manager) who informed me that the roofer would be there the next day (Saturday, April 16, 2016). Unfortunately, Saturday was a no show no call. I tried calling Ed on his cell, no answer. I called his company, no answer. I called on Monday and was promised a roof on Tuesday. Today is Thursday, April 21, 2016 I’ve met with a group of roofers outside of my property. The lead roofer informed me that he can’t have his men work on this roof because of the structure of my mobile home. He called Ed (Imperial Project Manager) over who then informed me that he can’t do what was promised but proposes different solutions that he can't guarantee can get done but will do some research.
Please do not hire this company for your roofing needs. Hire an actual roofing company as I believe this company subcontracts their roofing needs. If you need work done and decide to go with this company you will be dealing with a great sales person (Owner) that will sale you a service he is not familiar with. If they couldn't do this type of work in the condition it is in or had any doubts, Mr. Esposito should have not agreed and guarantee service. Next time he should consider having a professional roofer inspect and provide an accurate plan for the roof prior to signing a contract and giving his word for completing a job his company can't handle. It is now almost 2 1/2 weeks after the initial date and I have to find another roofing company. Don't waste your time.
