I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. After our home flooded due to all the rain, Insurance Repair Pros contacted us to the the demo. They were sent to us from our home insurance co. After they set up a air mover, didn’t come back for 3 days, started the demo, found mold had to get 2 mold test done. After a long wait for the test and demo. Our insurance company waited for the final billing so they could pay out so we (husband and I) could start the repairs. We told them that we will be doing the work ourselves, as we wanted to change a few things. It took Insurance repair pros a month to get their billing together, and sent in. By this time our insurance company just sent the money to us and we were to pay them what was owed. Upon looking over the billing that they submitted, we found that were charging us for stuff they never did, the time that they wasn’t here, and machines that never came into my home. Talking to DAN, not sure where he fits into the company, he starts tell my husband and I how much he pays out for payroll, insurance and repairs for his vehicles because we wanted to know why they were charging us for items that never happened. Was also was told at this time, that the person that did the demo, was not up to date on his paper work and was over worked and got a few things mixed up with other home that they were doing. We feel that was poor business and to tell us his overhead was just taking it over the top.

Independent Insurance Pros is a company I will never recommend. We had some water damage when the water line to our washer broke. Someone recommended them to us. The next day they came out to assess the damage. They hooked up some fan blowers and told us someone would be at our house everyday to check the process. The process started on a Thursday and ended on a Monday. During that time, only one person came to check on it. Since the water went into our basement, they obviously had to dry that out too. They removed two doors, ripped up carpeting, and ripped out toe kick.
We thought that when it was over, they would fix that. They didn’t and we are stuck with that expense.
They found out what our deductible was $2000.00 but gave a discount of $250.00 which probably was a finders fee ( to the person who recommended them). Four days of fans, ( which we paid the electricity for) and damage they never fixed.
