John always has a excuse for everything.
He will not take care of customers
Says he's on it or will get it done.
John will always say that's how it is.
Not let me make it right.
Look at most of his reviews
If he was a honest guy or company
He wouldn't have any or next to none on bad reviews. I learned my lesson on this guy -

After I saw my neighbor's new shower, I asked him who did it and he referred me to John. We got a bid and felt the price was great so we moved forward. Took about 2 weeks. I bought my tile from him which was cheaper than the store price so was happy about that too. My shower looks great. Would recommend him to anyone looking for remodel work. Thanks.

John and his crew did our kitchen granite and also installed our tile. No complaints at all. He is very knowledgeable about tile and suggested how we should stagger the cuts and it actually turned out better his way. I would use him again if I need any more remodel work.

John was referred to me by pro source for new a new countertop install in my kitchen. I read the reviews below and felt compelled to review my experience with his company. John came out and took measurements of my kitchen and he was very knowledgeable about quartzite and the install process. I did have a few bids and I chose john because he was the only one who submitted a formal quote which laid out the entire scope of the job and price. Based on our meeting and his detailed proposal, I felt that I could trust him. The install process took about 10 days. John's crew showed up on time and were very curteous. No issues at all. My kitchen looks amazing. I would tell anyone I knew looking to remodel their kitchen to call John.

By Deborah S.May 17, 2018Install silestone counters
I had several issues with John and his crew. First, they measured incorrectly, so the backsplash behind the oven was too short. The countertop was also a little short. I thought it was the wood trim on my cabinets that stopped it from going wall to wall and told them to cut around the trim. Of course, that made it worse. The top for my 5 ft by12 in counter was installed in 2 pieces. The 2 sections of the sink and bar area were overcut and instead of a straight line at the join (it is an L shape), there is a 45 degree correction. The backsplash for the sink area was seamed at the far end of the counter instead of behind the tap. When I mentioned that there was quite a difference in the distance to the wall from one end to the other I was told the wall is not straight. Well, we just removed the backsplash due to grouting issues and found the countertop was not cut straight and there is a overcut going into the counter. They had to put so much caulk to hide where they brought the section of backsplash out to hide the error. I also had the lines about family issues and hospital stays. Stay away from this firm.

John installed granite at my house. I was referred to him by a world of tile. I booked my install very early on and John insured that work would be completed by holidays. It was not, upon many excuses of family members ill and vacations, I finally got the install after Christmas. $40k cabinets were damaged, dishwasher was not installed correctly. John claimed that he would have everything fixed, now does not return calls or texts. Next step is a complaint with the ROC and filing suit. BAD BAD BUSINESS....

John (with 2 other companies) was recommended to me by A World of Tile. I was sold the first moment I met him. He was so positive and excited to get started on my Shower Remodel. I couldn't be happier with my shower. He made great recommendations as well as advising me on what not to do. Several friends have seen my shower and now want him to do their showers. Even his crew pointed out a couple pieces of tile they suggested not to use. I really appreciated their honesty. I will definitely use him and his crew again.

By sjp0829August 13, 2015install floor tile, shower remodelGreat Contractor
He was the only contractor that called me back! I called 3 contractors , 2 of which were referred to me and only John called me back. John and his crew installed our floor tile and remodeled our 2 bathroom showers. John came out to measure my floors and look at the scope of the project. He was very competent and I could tell he had alot of knowledge about flooring, so I decided to use him. The whole process took about 3 weeks and I am very pleased with my new bathrooms! I would definitely use Johnn again.

I have used JAshley Remodeling for a few jobs now. John and his guys installed all of my granite in my home and it looked really really good. John went with me to the Granite shop and helped me pick out the right color to match my cabinets and it looks so good. I used him again for a remodel on my moms house and it was great too. We did granite again and he also installed tile and remodeled the showers. No complaints here. John is a great guy. I would use again!

I would never recommend John Wishney to do any granite work. I was recommended by him through World of Tile in Glendale and was told he was a great, licensed granite installer. Turns out once he was paid half the contracted rate, he failed to start on time and made us wait for another week and a half claiming his crew workers had family members in the hospital. (After repeated emails that went unanswered). Once his 'crew' started they were sloppy, made a huge mess and made huge holes in the wall. John came over to inspect and assured this was very common but he did send out someone to repair the holes in the wall. (Otherwise I wouln have paid him the remaining). Overall, we are not satisfied with the work and would never use him again!!!

I was referred to John by the company I bought my tile from. Having had a terrible experience years ago with a contractor. John put us at ease once we met him. Had a slight problem with the installation but John sent his crew over and it was fixed. I would highly recommend this company. When I had a question John texted me right away.
