This company does not use professional window installers as advertised. In April of 2024 they sent Three young Ukranian men to install my windows and door. Only one of them spoke broken English. Needless to say the install was a complete disaster.
MY nightmare started when my window and door measurements were done by the greedy salesman the night of the sale. The ignorant jerk claimed that he was capable to doing the measurements. As a result my door is smaller than the one they removed. The three Ukanians attempted to install the door and it was manipulated to fit. It looks like crap because the door was raised and they added two large lips at the threshold. A safety hazard that I have tripped over numerous times. They used old caulk everywhere , it never cured! It's still sticky 5 months later, except now it has dirt and drebris stuck to it. My windows do not glide up and down easily, I struggle to open and close them. The metal work was poorly done; seams and nail pops all over. This will eventually rot the wood on my house underneath. J&M Windows is located a full two hours from my home??Why are they selling windows to customers so far away?? It is now October 2024, five months later and my project is still a complete disaster.
Also frustrating, I never got the screens i ordered or the itemized bill that i requested numerous times. I am so disgusted with Andersen Windows, its clear that this business should not be installing anything, anywhere!
