Outstanding customer service, outstanding communication which made it that much better. The craftsmanship was amazing and I really have a hard time believing the gentleman above everyone I’ve spoke with its done work with him he has gone the extra mile for and I would use him again in a heartbeat

If I could of given J.P. Olsen Homes a zero I would have!
I hired him to finish my basement.
Here is a list of problems:
Pocket doors not functional, He made the casing too tight and the hardware could not even fit inside the pocket of the door. The door would scratch every time you opened and closed them.
He used two different baseboards. One was fiber glass and one was wood and then he used putty to try to hide the cuts in the center.
A number of baseboards were cut short and he used caulking to try and cover them up.
He did not hang lights, a ceiling fan, and a sign anywhere close to center.
My plumbing in the shower leaked and I had to get that fixed.
He did not measure the railing to go down the stairs right so there was a gap where it is connected to the wall.
When painting (eggshell) he cut in around the edges and then finished painting a number of days later leaving differences in paint color.
This list goes on and on.The worst part of the whole thing was I paid him in full for the poor work he did and then he did not pay the Granite company in full so they put a lien on my house. He was unprofessional in the way he went about his business and his communication.
If you use him please get a release waiver on subs before you pay him so this does not happen to you.

He replaced the brick siding on our home with stone. He had us sign a contract with half down. Told us he would be starting that week and then called and said he was delayed due to the materials being on back order. He begged for pay outs before work was done giving fake sob stories which we helped out because this was supposed to be a childhood friend so we thought we could trust him. I’m not sure he knew what he was doing at all. We paid almost $5000 for poor quality work that we are now going to have to hire someone to fix. He also left us with all the trash from demo in which we paid him for disposal but will also have to pay again to get the trash out of the driveway. He quit responding to text messages and calls and blocked us on social media. The worst experience we have ever had. DO NOT have him do work for you. He is a con man.
