James K. Poston built our house in 2019. I had advised James Poston of a siding issue right away. He told me to do a series of different things and stated we were doing all of this to find out if it was a siding issue or installation issue. My wife and I hired James Poston because he stated he was licensed, bonded, and insured. James stated if there were any issues he would handle them. After going around in circles and pretending to help us for 3 years he stated we need to go to court so our voices could be heard. I advised him I would check with other houses he built and he stated ok. After talking to 9 houses they all had punch list issues that he did not finish and 7 if thise also with siding issues. I had a scientific engineer come out to my house and he stated it was an installation issue. There are several more houses he has built that have siding issues I just have not been able to talk to then yet. He was everyone's best friend until he got his money and now doesn't want to talk to anyone. He pretended to be everyone's best friend until the house is done and then will not help. I would not recommend to anyone. I have pictures and letters from from other houses to back up everything I am saying. My family has know him for many years and he still screwed us.
They are also now operating under POSTON CUSTOM BUILDING!! Beware

I had work done with James Poston , several projects at my house and he was very professional, the work was quality , I have nothing but praises for him and his team. I would recommend him and I will use him again for sure.
