James Stasyshyn remodeled a house in Glen Gardner in 2012-2014. I purchased this house from him in 3/15 through Caldwell Banker. After a month of living there, we smelled sewerage every time the washing machine drained. We realized the SaniGrind Pro macerating pump on the first floor was installed incorrectly. Stasyshyn and Doc's Plumbing (Richard Werkeiser) in Asbury were determined in violation by the Bureau of Local Code Enforcement and were forced to fix it; however, the smell was worse and now occurred whenever we used water. Months later, we took down the wall on the first floor and discovered sewerage coming through the foundation of the house. Also, mold was on all the walls, etc... We moved out. I hired two septic companies to dig up the yard and requested that Mr. Stasyshyn was there. The septic tank was connected to an old cesspool that was three feet from the foundation and it was completely filled with old debris. It doesn't end there. Another pipe lead to another cesspool/seepage pit about 10 feet from the house. Stasyshyn stood there and told all of us he didn't know the cesspool closest to the house was there but he did hook a pipe up to it. Then he said he didn't do the work. When I called the excavating company he said installed the septic system, they vehemently denied they did and said that they dug the holes and he installed the system. James Stasyshyn is beyond arrogant and a pathological liar. He refuses to fix what he did. Now I can't live in my house and cannot afford a lawyer to go after him. DO NOT HIRE JAMES STASYSHYN!
