11054 E. Bella Vista Drive-Troy Jarvis, “Jarvis Development” or “My Remodeling Company” was the worst contractor experience. Troy pushed back timelines due to his gross mismanagement and misrepresentation. Misrepresentation began w/ telling us he had a full time crew (subcontracted all trades); no CAD system; submitted 1st contract w/ no times lines or staged deliverables against $draws; no city permit filings & job was shut down; unaware of recent fire sprinkler codes; no HOA application submissions so incurred fine, violated work start times, little to no on-site supervision during build; hired & fired framers and landscapers, hired inexperienced and low quality drywall, house painters, slab fabricators, cabinet installers, plumbers, electricians, closet installer so work had to be re-done 2 and 3 times-we hired our own plumber and electrician to fix shoddy work. Troy Jarvis treated our home like a garbage dump and never cleaned up job site at end of work day-broken glass, nails and plastic water bottles in neighborhood streets. Troy tried to make landscaping design and appliance decisions without consulting us. We received past due invoices from 2 of his subcontractors. We were forced to keep weekly check lists because Troy and his on-site supervisor failed to deliver. We worked directly w/ slab fabricator because incorrect installation of fireplace resulted in cracks & sliding glass door contractor because Troy Jarvis incorrectly installed. Beware of Troy Jarvis!
