  Talks a good game but work is lousy

  I used Jerry Pekarski for a few projects until I realized that everything he does is sub par. He tiled a bathroom for me that looks like an amateur did it. He built a dumpster enclosure that is shaky and eventually I had to completely replace the gates he installed. Most importantly, he installed seamless gutters on my commercial property. He used a 2 inch round gutter outlet for a four inch rectangle gutter. I was worried about flow restriction but he said the rounds were all he could buy. I went to HD and found the right outlets and bought them. He said he would change them but never did. Recently, heavy snow caused two sections of gutter to tear away from the building. I called him to replace the sections but he won't return my call. I called another gutter contractor for a quote to repair and he discovered that Mr. Pekarski used improper spacing for the gutter hangers - too far apart. He also showed me the exposed nails from Mr. Pekarski's pump jacks in my roof. He was too lazy to caulk over the nails after he pounded them into the shingles. I never used Mr. Pekarski for roofing, nor would I after living with the aftermath of every job he did for me. Shame on me for trusting. Shame on you if you don't heed my warning.
