    Detached shop
    $45,000

    If I could give him 0 stars I would. We started working with this contractor who uses the name JD Gariner (Jesse Gariner) out of Falcon/Peyton co in Sept 2024. We hired him to build a detached shop for us. It has been 7 months of complete frustration with this company. Not only do the one or two workers not show up for weeks at a time but when they do they frequently only work 1-3 hours that week. We have cameras and can see when they come and go. Much of the workmanship is sub par, there is little to no oversight, we now only have a frame without a roof. We unfortunately paid for our materials well in advance many months ago as requested up front. We are boarding horses at great expense and JD assured us that he had would have it done by end of Oct and dots now end of Feb. the lack of respect he has shown us has been very unprofessional. Don’t use him! He will lie to you and blow you off and take your $. I paid him $41k. Now I got to take him to court! I highly caution you against using this person, as this experience has caused great financial and emotional strain for us.

    Horse Barn Build

    We started working with this contractor who uses the name JD in October 2023. We hired him to build a two stall horse barn for us and my husband obtained all of the essential permits in March. It has been 7 months of complete frustration with this company. Not only do the one or two workers not show up for weeks at a time but when they do they frequently only work 1-3 hours that week. We have cameras and can see when they come and go. Much of the workmanship is sub par, there is little to no oversight, the subs are frequently referred to by JD as “crack heads”, and we now only have a frame without a completed roof. We unfortunately paid for our materials well in advance many months ago, and also for most of the work. We are boarding horses at great expense and JD assured us that he had a better crew and better equipment than in our previous 6 month barn build, therefore it would take only weeks to complete. Yes, we are repeat customers and this is the lack of respect he has shown us. I highly caution you against using this person, as this experience has caused great financial and emotional strain for us.
