    Nightmare!!!

Do not hire Jim Banko. He told me that it would take 10 days to totally redo my bathroom. He started on December 7th, it is now Feb. 24 and it is still not finished. Every time I call, "my truck is broke" or it's something else. It has been a nightmare. The damage to my hallway outside of my bathroom is ridiculous. There are nail holes and plaster is broken. Their go to fix-it tool is caulking. (You got a hole, just fill it with caulking; but don't smooth it out so it looks like garbage.) We had to bust out part of our plastered hallway wall to put shower pipes, they replaced it with just drywall, so it looks awful. We had someone else come and do the plaster and Jim told him not to plaster that part of the hallway??? There is so much more wrong with the hallway, but I want to get to my bathroom. There are so many nails sticking out of the trim, how could you not notice? The new vanity wobbles, how did they fix it; they put felt underneath the legs of the vanity. Looks great! Not!!! Trim does not line up around the new window. We asked for a pocket door to be installed, what a joke. Whomever "drilled" the hole for the handle looks like the used a dull spoon and if that isn't enough, it wasn't even in the correct location so you couldn't lock the door. So, now there is a big hole in my brand new door because they didn't center the lock. They broke the lock mechanism, had to buy a new one. I could talk a while about my door, but there is so much more wrong. The final straw was yesterday. I had just finished taking a shower, turned the water off, stepped out of the tub, and I started to hear the sound of water splashing. I knew right away what it was, the pipe on the drain was no longer attached; my basement was FLOODED!!! You have got to be kidding me!!! It's just surprise after surprise. I can not wait to see what else they have messed up! So unprofessional, they would show up when ever they felt like it. Sometimes not until noon and they would be gone by 2:00. We also hired Jim Banko to replace our windows. The windows turned out o.k. at best. We asked him to replaced the trim around each window and it doesn't even line up. Didn't give us exactly what we wanted with the windows, but better than what we had. (That isn't saying too much.)
