If I could I'd do negative 10 stars! RUN FROM THIS BUILDER! Poor quality homes at luxury prices. We went from a brand new in 1996 condo that was build amazing to 20 years later moving into a brand new piece of garbage that we are already having to fix. Jk monarchs office associates are u satisfactory and there contractors are low pare... We came into this so excite turn key ready home and so disappointed 4 years later. ALSO trying to do the 1 year warranty crap dont waste your time cause they dont do any of it!

Jk Monarch refused ours and other neighbors one year warranty requests through no fault of ours or their own.
Be warned when buying a JK Monarch home that they could possible skip out on their responsibility of the one year warranty.
Their management are also very unprofessional with emails and phone calls. Everything about JK Monarch as a company has been awful.

We became a family of 5 and had grown out of our home of 15 years. We knew we wanted a brand new home because we didn't want to have all the added expense and cost that are associated with an existing home. We also had specific needs. We found that builders are offering upgrades that allow you to make your home unique and beautiful but what we liked about JK Monarch is that we were able to move interior walls around and reconfigure spaces that fit with our families needs better, we also noticed the quality was of a high standard, we felt comfortable knowing that our home would not only look good but would last for years to come. Our agent and the site agents were very helpful in guiding us through the beginning steps. Once we were under contract we were contacted by JK Monarch's Design Consultant who was there to help us with reconfiguring the spaces in our home, offering us upgrades that we didn't even think of that made our home beautiful, unique and functional for our family. I also really appreciated the fact that I was allowed to design my home based off my ideas and was allowed to go outside of the box or scope of the selections that were offered.
We have been in our home for 2 years now and are happy with our entire experience with JK Monarch. If we ever down size, we will build with them again!

I could not be more happy with our new home. Our house was designed beautifully with high quality materials. Brandon who did our walk through was very professional. I would highly recommend JK Monarch homes.

We are currently in the process of having a Home built with JK Monarch and it had been a TERRIBLE experience!!! They have the absolute worst customer service ever! No one will give u answers or any kind of timeline, it’s always “I will get back with u” no one ever will give us a direct answer. We are currently just a little over 30 days from our close date and there is still sooooooooo much to be done and they are now saying we won’t be getting into our house till after Christmas!! That’s 3 months away! What is the worst is the excuse they keep giving us when we ask when we drive by our house and no one is working on it for weeks at a time! (I’m talking nothing being done for weeks, at one point they went 7 weeks without doing anything!!!) now our house is the only one not being worked on, all the other houses in our community that we’re started after ours are way ahead of ours and they continue to work on them on a almost basis and are doing nothing on ours! They seriously have no communication skills as a company! And they seem to be seriously under staffed. When we ask why our house isn’t being worked on they say there is a shortage of labor...and then we drive over to the other neighborhood where they are building homes and they are working on every home in that complex, and our house was started before most of the homes in there!!! I am so far beyond frustrated!! And when our real estate agent calls to try and find out what’s going on, their attitude is just “oh well, it will get done when it gets done” and they won’t give any explanations for anything or give us any updates or any timelines!! If we could get our $ back that we have put in for upgrades we would be getting out of this house because dealing with Jk Monarch has been nothing but a nightmare!!!

We are half-way through our experience with JK Monarch and have been so very unpleased with their customer service.Their homes are beautiful, but their process of helping homeowners customize these homes is murky at best. There is no set process or timeline. We signed with them six months ago and still were never told when they actually submitted our permit. Meanwhile, we sold our home, moved into an apartment, and just wait to hear when things will move along. When we do meet with the designer, who is literally in charge of everything from the permitting to the landscaping of our new home, she forgets conversations, fails to bring our file, and then blames and charges us when things slip through the cracks. I cannot say enough negative things about this builder, and can only hope that living through this (still undetermined length of) hell will be worth the beautiful home we have been dreaming, wailing and gnashing our teeth over.

We are building a brand new home with JK Monarch. Initially everything seemed fine, but as things progressed, things became clear that the buyer is just a puppet on a string for the builder and they do just as they please. We as buyers never feel like we are in charge of making decisions. If the builder mess up, they just say "too bad". Example; they planted a Magnolia tree right in front of the house. 2 feet from the front of the house. Those trees are not supposed to be closer than 50 feet from the house. We raised the issue and asked to have it moved as to not damaged our foundations and wall. Guess what, they just told us to move the tree ourselves once we move in as they cannot move it due to some utility easement issue. So we can easily move this tree at our cost of course onto this utility easement (as we have no idea where this is located in the yard). We never planted the damn tree there, now it's our problem, not theirs! We also were told the deep closet under the stairs was standard, but low and behold, we ended up paying for that standard closet as they build ours as a small closet and when we complained and said the model house had a big L-shape closet, they made us pay to get the same. Our floor design changed without them disclosing it to us after we signed contract. Of course, they would never change it to the plan we signed up for! It should be illegal to do! At another visit we realised the linen closet in the laundry was no longer there, due to Architects and Builders not thinking the same...too bad for us. Communication sucks! They communicate at their terms and if we piss them off by complaining, they make us feel like we are at fault. We have reminded them over and over that we are the investors in the house and they are suppose to give us the product we are willing to pay for, but they surely do not understand customer service!
