We hired John for a full basement renovations. Hes very nice and laid back but we had lots of problems and damage done to our home which he has not showed up to look at or fix nor has he picked up his equipment. John contracted with a flooring guy who we paid directly. The flooring man hacked up our hallway stair carpet all which now needs replaced. The basement flooring was LVT which is not laid properly in any of the rooms and the glue is coming up between the floor boards and ripping peoples feet.
John and Rob installed electrical work which was completely wrong. The boxes were installed to far back and the switches do not come out all the way. A electrical box was installed improperly and not inset into the wall.
The drywall is not straight or tightened all the way in several places. Baseboards were not installed straight.
The shower they installed was not level and water will not drain because the drain was too high. The whole shower and all the tile had to be ripped out and replaced. We asked for our money back and he has yet to show up to look at the work or to pay us back for the 5000 dollars worth of damage that was done to our property. Our last communication we had he said he would come over but never did.
We have to fix the shower and have to hire someone else because they don't know what they are doing. But we still need our money back so we can replace all the damaged items.
