Poured a large patio for me. They did excellent work. If you want it done, done right, and done now, these are the people to use.

Ditto previous review... Stay far away from James McBride and JM Managment LLC. Check out his big fat 'F' rating with BBB. He will over promise and under deliver. He will lie and cheat and make huge false promises. In the end he will leave you holding the bad with incomplete and poor quality work. He is the perfect example of what is wrong in the construction business and why they often have such a terrible reputation as swindlers. Stay away from JM Management.

Do not hire this company. James did not stay on top of his sub contractors. He over charged for a tankless water heater...$6000!!...and when I said I did not want it he refused to take it away. He was finishing a shed for us and after 3 months and it still not complete I told him we would find someone else. James left us with a $32,000 unfinished shed. To be fair he would have been happy to continue to over charge and barely come but I refused to continue to work with him. So if we had been willing to wait another 3 or so months maybe he would have finished, though I am sure it would have been well over 60K at that point. This guy is the reason contractors have a bad reputation.

We had the worst experience working with James and Taylor and Sam. I want to put this out there to warn everyone to stay away! Everything they promise is a lie and when you have concerns, they are not handled. In fact, we feel they purposely tried to do things to spite us. To this day, both my husband and myself are still waiting for the owner, James, to return our calls and texts to check the work of his crew and address our concerns. We unfortunately hired them to replace our driveway and front steps because of their promises, but sadly, everything that could go wrong went wrong! For example, I specifically asked about color and finishing. They poured in sections on different days so the concrete is all different colors. Other examples are: they changed the height of the steps and poured at an angle so they look strange and are already cracking. They cut out our grass without asking to move the driveway over! They put strange colored finishes on top so they look chalky and greasy in places and poured them on in strange shapes and patterns so it looks like splatters and oil spills on our brand new concrete. James lies and says it will all fade but it is only getting worse. The section that looks oily is also very slippery when it gets wet!! We’ve slipped multiple times over the winter. They left black streaks and other stains on the steps that look absolutely awful. And every part of the driveway has a different pattern or hue to it which they promised it wouldn’t. They also left our lawn and street a complete mess! They ruined the grass when pouring right on top instead of in a tub or kiddy pool as we’ve seen some company’s do. They left parts of the grass torn up on top of the yard. They had streaks and streams of concrete on the street and our neighbors were so upset as well. I had to ask them to come clean it again and it’s still not right. Trying to communicate with James is a nightmare. He was not polite and would not come see and address our concerns. Now he is completely ignoring us. We are so very unhappy with their job. It makes me stressed out and sad every time I look at our driveway and steps when they should be pretty and new. We are out so much money for only disappointment. I can honestly say I preferred my old driveway to the job they did and wish we never made contact with James and his company to be victims of his lies and fraud.
