By Gary C.September 17, 2019Replace outdoor-indoor carpet on a front deck.
He was a very nice guy, but the work produced by his "son", who did most of my front porch was very poor from the start. He came back to replace the carpet on the steps, which was wrinkling and coming up. The main carpet on the deck is now wrinkling and coming up also, and he is UNREACHABLE! I simply need help to allow it to last more than a couple of years, but he is gone.

John gave me a quote and said he could do the job but then he left someone else to do it and it wasn't being done right so I sent photos to my, out-of-state uncle, who has been a contractor for over 35 years, and he said not to let them finish the job, because the work was "sloppy" and the prep work itself would have to be "fixed" before the vinyl sheet flooring could be laid. You can't lay vinyl sheet flooring over anything other than a smooth surface. Don't let anyone try to tell you otherwise!
