  He was fair priced and did a great job remodeling my kitchen from the floor up drywall, tiles cabinets. I will use him again on our next project.

  Duplex renovation

  Best of the WORST

  Contracted with John Hand to do extensive work on a duplex. Mr Hand was paid in full, I n cash as he insisted. Most of what he was paid to do he never did, the rest was substandard by any stretch and not useable. Bath vanities installed 5" away from the wall, interior doors replaced with what was obviously used doors but then we're not cut properly, doors did not close, one height on one side another on the other side, hinges mounted in the wrong places, laminate floors an absolute embarrassment to a newbie any professional couldn't do such a mess on their worse day. Mr Hand was to completely re-insulate the crawl space which he says he did, I had someone crawl under the house to the crawl space and take pictures unknowing as to why, he did not do the work. Mr Hand was to complete in three weeks and as of today (August 6, 2014)he has not completed the work he was paid to do and has not returned except for when he knew I was going to be gone to pick up his equipment he stored (without my consent or knowledge) in my duplex.
  Town of Brigantine certainly must know he works around the island they should revoke his license!
  As far as I am concerned this is theft and there should be ramifications to John Hand!!
