Kochis did a bunch of walkways for us. They initially looked great. But they gradually came apart because the edging was done wrong (and totally unlike how EVERYONE else does it). He used narrow little strips of concrete for edging- looked dumb and of course broke up with freeze/thaw in time. Promised to come back and fix it: stopped answering emails and never showed.

I hired Kochis Landscaping about 5 years ago to hardscape my front walk and steps. The design and work was done very well. About 3 years later however the front steps began to sag and the lighting was no longer working. While the walkway has remained ok, the steps now have a major problem. Kochis crew did return to make improvements but their work was done poorly. I asked Kochis to return and examine the deteriorating front steps and develop a plan to restore the steps. I even offered to compensate him for his labor. He has consistently ignored my complaints leaving me no choice but to hire another landscaper to redo the front steps. In my opinion, I should never have hired his landscaping company.
