  Painting, mount tv and new sink

  John did several tasks including installing a new sink, some minor painting and mounted a tv. He came on the days he scheduled and on time. Did each job with details in mind and cleaned up after each task. His prices were good and fair. When he came to see the work he explained that the only change in the scheduled date to do my work would only change if someone he did work for needed an emergency fix. This didn’t happen for my work but good to know he stands by his work and would fix if something wasn’t done right.

  Tears up your house in order to start a job and then Promises deadlines but ends up taking 10 times as long without an explanation. Even the jobs he finishes are never truly finished. If you want you have to paint over primer or remove torn down sheds or a deck yourself after being promised it would be done then he’s your guy. Even the jobs he finishes are never truly finished. Makes promises and cannot or will not deliver. Poor work at best, and always unfinished. Worst of all Extremely rude and unreliable. Requesting to have a job finished will get you a nasty nasty attitude and him quitting on the spot which will be the best thing that happens to you once you start dealing with this man. He will come off nice when you meet him but you will soon realize that you are paying far too much for far too little. $75 an hour for completely unfinished work And someone who is not willing to communicate or answer calls or show up when promised for measly three hour days. If you’re looking for a job that won’t be finished, and to get jerked around for weeks and Pay hard-earned money for it then this is the contractor for you. IN THIS CASE YOU DONT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Will waste your time, your money, and your energy while he works for as many $75 hours as possible so he can do nothing but leave you with more mess and problems that you’ll then have to beg him to come back, and take your money again, to clean up (but still not complete). Should’ve know from his businesses card, “No Job Too Small!”.... no job to small to find a way to leave incomplete.

  John Sowakinas - did several small projects for me on my condo in Allendale NJ recently. He was polite and professional, he asked questions so he knew what I wanted done, money I wanted to spend and he did the work promptly and on the schedule we set. While doing work he saw something that needed repair, he called me and then took care of it. Shortly after the work was completed another issue arose with a light and when I called him to inquire, he scheduled another trip to the condo, corrected the problem immediately. He is very fair and I would call him again. I recommend him.5
