If you're looking for a good contractor, we know where to find one. A few years ago, we had our hall bath remodeled. We hired First Rate Renovations for the job, and the person who actually did the work was Jon Wilson. We were so impressed and happy with the quality of the work he did then that we didn't even consider hiring someone else to remodel our master bath.
The master bath was very small, with a very small stall shower, an inconvenient built-in cabinet, an ugly and damaged tile floor. In one word, yucky.
The plan was to demolish the bath down to studs and sub floor, remove the inconvenient cabinet and another small closet. New everything: tub, toilet, counter, jacuzzi-style tub with shower over, new surround for the tub. A new tile floor. New lighting, heat and fixtures.
He's almost finished with the remodel. During the demolition, he kept the dust out of the rest of our house, and worked with our schedule. Our new bath is almost complete, and it's BEAUTIFUL -- not just on the surface, either. Everything he's done is what we hoped it would be. We are VERY PLEASED.
